Ashcroft and Kay v. Ashcroft). Ms. Domingo is also responsible for changing the law in 1990, making it possible for children to remain with their parents, who received amnesty. Ms. Domingo has also contributed to the efforts of the Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights, and she has regularly acted as Pro Bono attorney at court proceedings. In addition, Ms. Domingo has been very successful in obtaining visa approvals for persons of exceptional ability who are internationally recognized for their achievements in their specialized fields.
